Working with families at the Center

At the Siluva Day Center , we support and guide the families of people with intellectual disabilities (PDI) in resolving difficulties that may arise in their daily lives.

Our approach begins with an initial assessment of the family , which allows us to understand its dynamics, needs and resources.

From this perspective, we work to strengthen family ties, promoting effective communication and improving relationships among family members.

We believe that the well-being of PDI is directly related to the well-being of the family, so we aim to comprehensively improve the quality of life for all members.

We provide support throughout the various processes that the IDP and each family member go through, understanding that each situation requires a unique and sensitive approach.

In addition, we monitor significant situations of various kinds on a daily basis, intervening when necessary to provide support, guidance, and assistance.

In this way, our work focuses not only on the IDP, but also on their entire families, recognizing them as a fundamental pillar in the comprehensive support process.
